Change of legal entitity
We are restructuring our business and going from a partnership to an individual entity.
What this means for our patients at the practice.
We have had a change of Practice Manager as Richard Laver has retired. Our new Practice manager is Dagma Friis.
The individual entity is Dr Frank Mulder who was partners with Richard Laver
We are having Dr Henry Hardy Join our Practice and Dr Jo Williams.
You may have already met Dr Domnita Neagu, who has joined Dr Mulder, Professor Gene Fader and Dr Joan Platford
We intend to carry on giving all our patients the best of service.

The Helios Trust was set up in 1995 to provide a secure long-term foundationfor an holistic approach to the treatment of illness in response to the futureneeds of the Helios Medical Centre in Bristol. It comprises the Helios Therapy Group and the Helios National Health ServicePractice and is housed in a building provided and maintained by the Trust. TheCentre is one of six in the United Kingdom operating partly within the NHSoffering anthroposophical treatments which combine mainstream and otherremedies as well as a range of therapies specific to the Anthroposophicalapproach.
The Helios Trust is responsible for the work at the Therapeutic Centre whichlies outside the NHS. Therapies, such as artistic and movement therapies,massage and counselling
The Helios Medical Centre is a healing community in which doctors, therapists,helpers and patients are partners in promoting good health and responding tothe suffering caused by illness.
Staff at the Centre work closely with the six other similar practices indifferent parts of the country. The work of these practices has beenevaluated by a research team under the guidance of Yvonne Carter, Professor ofGeneral Practice at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, London. Copies of the report can beviewed at the Helios Medical Centre. A summary leaflet is also available.

The Trust helps the Helios MedicalCentre by
¨ Supporting medical andtherapeutic services at the medical centre that are not provided by the NHS
¨ Providing and maintainingthe medical centre building
The Trusts principal aim is to improvethe physical and mental health of all patients using the medical centre by
¨ Supporting the use ofanthroposophical medicines and therapeutic techniques, such as art therapy,counselling and eurythmy (movement therapy), massage.
¨ Establishing and promotingworkshops, study groups and self help groups at the Centre for sufferers ofvarious physical and mental illnesses.
In addition the Trust
¨ Establishes and maintainsbursary funds to ensure that no patient is denied medical or therapeutic benefitas a result of financial impoverishment.
¨ Expands links with othermedical institutions offering care to patients suffering from chronic illnesses.
¨ Ensures that all patientsreceive treatment irrespective of financial circumstance, gender or race.
